Who we are

garag.ee is operated by an individual trader registered in Latvia. For data protection matters, you can contact us at support@garag.ee.

What data we collect

We collect only what's needed to run the service:

• Account data — email address, password (hashed), country, and the parts listings and car records you create.
• Billing data — subscription status and tier. Payment details (card number, billing address) are handled entirely by Paddle and never stored by us.
• Usage data — page views, feature interactions, and error logs used to improve the service. We use Vercel Speed Insights for anonymous performance metrics; no personal data is attached to these measurements.
• Images — photos you upload for parts and cars, stored on Cloudflare R2.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties.

Why we collect it

• To operate your account and deliver the features you've subscribed to
• To process subscription billing through Paddle
• To display your public part listings to potential buyers
• To send transactional emails (login links, billing receipts) — no marketing emails without your consent
• To diagnose bugs and improve platform performance

Third-party processors

• Supabase — database and authentication. Data is stored in the EU.
• Paddle.com Market Limited — subscription billing and VAT. Paddle is Merchant of Record and has its own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare R2 — image storage.
• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.

Public listings

Parts you list as "available" are publicly visible, including part name, price, photos, and your seller display name. If you remove a listing or close your account, that content is removed from public view.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and listings are removed within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain billing records.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@garag.ee. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication (set by Supabase). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
